Couples Therapy

 

Being deeply connected to your partner can positively impact your life in many positive ways.  

 

Couples Therapy can be helpful in all types of intimate relationships. It is effective over all ages and all socioeconomic status. Couples therapy can help improving, strengthening or rebuilding relationships through achieving a better understanding of self and each other. Marriage or couples therapy includes both partners' participation who seek counseling to improve their troubled relationship or work on a specific issue. Premarital counseling is another form of couples therapy to gain a deeper understanding of each other and the relationship.

 

In your couple sessions you will be able to (but not limited to):

 

 - Gain insight into your relational patterns

 - Develop skills necessary to communicate

 - Increase emotional expression

 - Increase trust and intimacy

 - Learn effective problem-solving & conflict resolution

 - Learn how to be assertive without being offensive

 - Learn how to be supportive of each other.
